About Camp America:
Since 1969, Camp America has been sending young people from around the world to incredible summer camps across the USA. We’re all about travel, cultural exchange, and adventure, and our marketing team plays a huge role in sharing that story with future participants.
The Role:
We’re looking for a creative and data-driven Content Creator to bring the Camp America experience to life through engaging visuals and compelling storytelling. This role is about representing the many faces of our program and amplifying diverse voices, ensuring our content is inclusive and reflective of our community.
What You’ll Do:
- Content Creation: Develop original and engaging multimedia content for social media, email marketing, and web platforms. This includes graphics, short-form videos, and blog posts.
- Design & Branding: Manage and maintain Canva templates for social media, presentations, emails, web ads, and print materials, ensuring brand consistency.
- Social Media Management: Create and schedule posts across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and Snapchat while exploring opportunities on platforms like Discord and Reddit.
- Paid Advertising Management: Plan, create, and optimize paid advertising campaigns on Meta (Facebook & Instagram), Snapchat, and YouTube to boost engagement and lead generation.
- Email Marketing: Create and schedule email campaigns that align with our lead generation strategy, working closely with the Marketing Executive.
- Content Creator & Community Management: Lead our content creator partnerships and oversee our Content Creator Academy, ensuring collaborations align with brand goals and effectively represent the Camp America experience.
- Lead Generation: Develop strategic content to attract and convert new leads, particularly targeting male applicants and those with specialist skills.
- Social Media & Trends: Stay on top of social trends, helping to shape our content strategy with data-driven decisions.
- Campaign Analysis: Work with tools like HubSpot and Google Analytics to track and measure content performance, using insights to optimize future strategies.
- Event Support: Assist with marketing events, including job fairs and university outreach, ensuring on-brand and engaging promotional content.
- Collaboration: Work closely with our Videographer, Social Media Assistant, and Marketing Executive to create a unified content strategy.
What You Bring:
- Experience in content creation, social media, and marketing.
- Proficiency in Canva (bonus points for Adobe Creative Suite skills).
- Experience in Meta Ads Manager, running paid campaigns on Facebook & Instagram.
- Experience with Snapchat and YouTube ad platforms.
- Strong writing and storytelling abilities, especially for Gen Z audiences.
- An understanding of social media analytics and data-driven content planning.
- Experience with HubSpot or similar CRM tools is a big plus.
- A passion for travel, cultural exchange, and adventure - especially if you’ve been a Camp America participant!
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to balance multiple projects at once.
