About Camp America:
Since 1969, Camp America has been sending young people from around the world to incredible summer camps across the USA. We’re all about travel, cultural exchange, and adventure, and our marketing team plays a huge role in sharing that story with future participants. Camp isn’t just a job - it’s an experience, and we believe the best way to sell it is to show it.
The Role:
We’re looking for a Videographer who can bring the Camp America story to life through dynamic and engaging visual content. You’ll be responsible for capturing and editing compelling video content that showcases the unique camp experience, from long-form storytelling on YouTube to snappy, shareable reels for social media. Whether it’s crafting an emotional narrative, producing high-energy ads, or editing quickfire TikToks, you’ll play a key role in how we connect with our audience.
What You’ll Do:
- Video Production: Plan, shoot, and edit high-quality video content for YouTube, social media, and paid ads.
- Storytelling: Create compelling narratives that highlight the life-changing experiences of camp through engaging video content.
- YouTube Growth: Build out and expand our YouTube channel, continuing our focus on documentary-style content while experimenting with new formats.
- Social Media Video: Develop short-form video content including reels, TikToks, and engaging video ads.
- Editing & Post-Production: Edit footage into polished, high-quality content using industry-standard software.
- Ad Creation: Produce video content tailored for paid campaigns on Meta (Facebook & Instagram), TikTok, Snapchat, and YouTube.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Content Creator and Social Media Assistant to ensure a cohesive visual and storytelling approach.
- Event Coverage: Capture video content at events, job fairs, and in-person meetups to enhance marketing efforts.
- Creative Direction: Stay ahead of trends in video marketing and storytelling to keep our content fresh and engaging.
What You Bring:
- Experience in video production, shooting, and editing.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar video editing software.
- Strong storytelling ability - able to craft narratives that connect emotionally with audiences.
- Experience in creating both long-form and short-form video content.
- Knowledge of video specs and best practices for platforms like YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and Snapchat.
- Experience with YouTube content strategy and growth is a big plus.
- Ability to shoot high-quality footage using professional camera equipment.
- Understanding of social media trends and how video content drives engagement.
- A passion for travel, cultural exchange, and adventure - especially if you’ve been a Camp America participant!
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects at once.
- Intermediate / Strong understanding of Adobe Suite products, such as Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Audition, to assist in creating dynamic moving image content and podcast materials, as well as support the Content Creator role.
Why You’ll Love It Here:
- Competitive salary and growth opportunities.
- A passionate, creative, and energetic team.
- Hybrid work options after your first year.
- A Kensington office location.
