Brad - Humans of Camp America

Camp America completely changed the direction of my life. Now, 16 months on from completing my first summer in upstate New York, I've left a full-time job, I'm living away from home, and I'm about to complete my first semester at university, embarking on a completely different future. None of it would have been possible without the inspiring people I met along the way or without those who gave methe opportunity. 

Working and traveling the USA for nearly 4 months did put a lot into perspective. It was a challenge, it was so much fun, and it was the most rewarding thing I've done. I've never been in an environment where everyone has ambition, creativity, passion, dreams and a constant smile; which is why I am going back next year to complete a second-summer. My advice to anyone thinking of applying would be not to think, as John Lennon once said: "Life is what happens to you whilst you're busy making other plans." Make those plans count and apply to Camp America today."
