Staff Time Off
Camp operates over a period of 7 weeks: 1 week of staff training and 6 weeks of operation. During the 6 operating weeks, staff members will have 4 days off (one for the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th weeks of operation). Every night once the campers are in bed, staff will have free time until curfew where they can hang out with other staff members, use the facilities, and have a computer lab available.
Staff Qualities
Camp Nubar looks for highly motivated, knowledgeable, and energetic staff members each summer. Staff members must be able to safely teach campers in their daily activities, manage their campers hygiene, and be fun and outgoing! At Camp Nubar, always be prepared to perform, a little silliness and excitement goes a long way!
