Camp Overview
Camp Albrecht Acres provides a unique environment for people with special needs to enjoy new opportunities and challenges in a safe environment adapted specifically for their needs. We are a 40-acre residential camp serving over 600 campers each summer. Campers enjoy a swim in the pool on summer afternoons, create masterpieces in our arts and crafts session, learn about nature in our Nature Center and through fishing in the pond, and enjoy social time during our dances each week!

Staff Time Off
Counselors get most weekends off. We have three schedule weekend camps that we require each counselor to work at the minimum of one. There is also an hour and a half rest time in the middle of each day and at night from 9pm till midnight they are off duty as well. For rest time and night, counselors usually have to work 2 to 3 shifts throughout the week but get the other days off.
