Activity Specialists design lesson plans, provide group and individual instruction to campers of all skill levels, supervise other staff, and participate in other aspects of the camp program. There is no expectation for staff to participate in faith based activities, but we do expect staff to be respectful. After we explain our customs and rituals to staff, it is up to them if they would like to participate. Either way is okay with us. We are not tied to one movement's philosophy. The three major camp values we believe in are respect, kindness and community. Staff have a responsibility to uphold these values, but there is no expectation to teach them for a Judaic standpoint.
