Camp Overview
Camp Cleawox is located along the coast in the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area. Camp Cleawox is one of three overnight camps operated by Girl Scouts of Oregon and Southwest Washington. This camp has a focus of water. Canoeing, kayaking, paddle boarding and windsurfing are all popular activities for our girls. Although the age range is K-12, this camp's most popular age group is 4-9 graders. Campers sleep in their own cabin separate from the girls and have a staff house to relax in on time off.

Staff Time Off
Staff have two hours off per day and at least a 36 hour break a week. This often falls on Saturday/Sunday but sometimes falls in the middle of the week. Transportation is available to international staff during the longer breaks.
Staff Qualities
We look for someone who loves working with kids and wants to further their experience. Someone who is flexible and able to roll with changes as the camp world can get kind of hectic. These jobs are both mentally and physically exhausting, so the dedication to the schedule is necessary.
