Camp Overview
Camp Danbee is a private residential summer camp for girls between the ages of 7 and 15 years old. Danbee is located in Western Massachusetts, about three hours from New York and Boston. We hire passionate and skilled staff to be role models for our campers. Everything we do at camp is designed to motivate and encourage our girls to be their best selves, build confidence and independence, and create lifelong friendships and memories.

Staff Time Off
Staff members will have one set day off per week and one early evening per week. Days off end with a 1:00am curfew. You will also receive one period off per day during regular scheduled days. You will be "On Duty" two nights per week. If you are "On Duty" you will remain in the cabin for the duration of the night after all camp evening activities are over. If you are not "On Duty" you will have your nights free starting around 9:30pm and will end with a 1:00am curfew. For your days off and early evenings, we will provide transportation into town for you. We also provide transportation every Friday and Saturday night into town at 9:45pm for staff who want to get off camp and that are not on duty. We do have wifi available to staff at camp.
Staff Qualities
Counselors at Camp Danbee have a duel role as a cabin counselor living with campers and teaching in a specific program area during the day. We are looking for staff who have experience working with children and have some experience in one of our program area's offered at camp. We will certify staff into certain program areas if they come with some experience but no prior certifications. examples are in swimming, Lifeguarding, climbing, archery, etc. Camp Danbee are looking for staff aged 18+.
