Camp Overview
Small traditional residential Girl Scout camp about 90 miles outside of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Campers and staff live in rustic cabins with electricity. The windows are screened in so they are semi-open air. We have a dedicated staff house for time off. Several of our larger buildings are air conditioned so on hotter days there is a space to cool down. We are semi rustic in our cabins but do have working bathrooms and showers.
Camp Activities include ropes course, horses, pool, boating activities on our lake, water trampoline, archery, sling shots, and art and nature based activities as well. camp is located on 130 acres and is fairly flat and easy to hike or traverse. We are semi wooded but have lots of open space for group games and sports.

Hmm... What's your role?
Staff Time Off
Each staff has a minimum of 2 hours off each day. Girls arrive Sunday afternoon and depart on Friday afternoon.
We do run weekend programs for families and groups where we run program and the group provides direct oversight of the campers. They arrive Friday evening and depart Sunday morning.
Staff have every other weekend off and we have a longer break over the July 4th holiday. During those longer breaks and weekends we do our best to arrange host families for our international staff if they would like that opportunity.
Staff Qualities
Caring and compassionate
Willing to try new things
We encourage staff to become certified in the following courses that we provide free of charge: Archery, Life Guard, and Ropes Course
A desire to be outdoors working with younger girls Ability to problem solve and be creative in finding solutions
We like a balance of outgoing as well as more quiet staff. We try to hire a diverse staff so all girls find someone similar to themselves and can make that bond with a staff member.
We are a small family and as such being able to connect and support each other is critical to the success of the summer. A "can do" attitude and willingness to step in and help even if it isn't "your job" is essential.
