Camp Echo is a vibrant, traditional coed sleep-away camp located just 90 minutes from the excitement of New York City. Every summer, our community of 500 campers (ages 7-16) and 250 staff members come together to create unforgettable memories in a setting that feels like a true home away from home.

Staff Time Off
All Staff will have Five Days Off during the camp season – One day off during orientation, and the rest are during the second, third, fifth, and sixth weeks of camp; Days off do NOT occur the first, fourth and seventh weeks of camp. Days off are pre-assigned by your Village Leaders.
In addition to the two nights connected to your Day Off, you will have one additional Night Off each week, which will also be determined by Village Leaders.
Nights off begin after Evening Activity; you must attend Evening Activity with your campers and participate. Curfew is 1:00am and at that time you must be in your cabin in bed, to ensure you remain alert & vigilant the next day.
