Camp Overview
Camp Frank A. Day is a traditional overnight camp for boys and girls ages 7 to 15 run by the West Suburban YMCA. The camp is located an hour west of Boston in East Brookfiled, MA on Lake Quacumquasit.
Our campgrounds span 52 acres. We have direct lake access with a beachfront, athletic fields, basketball courts, climbing towers and all the facilities needed to run a fun and safe summer camp.

1 day on a 7 day week 3-4 nights a week.
Staff Qualities
Our staff are True to life Living Superheroes that are able to:
1) Sing Once Direction, Smash Mouth, Taylor Swift, and Selena Gomez songs at every meal with a smile and enthusiasm.
2) Be ready to wake up their co-counselor and to let them know they have been vomited on by an upper bunk camper.
3) That understand going to the bathroom will be the only peaceful time of the day.
4) That think they got a super tan, only to take a shower and realize it was dirt.
5) That don't consider perpetuating "beaversharks" as lying but rather a creative form of mythology.
6) While in the real world all they can think about is Risk Assessment.
7) That meeting strangers and leaving with life long friends is a goal that is achieved every Summer.
8) When a campers asks them what they get paid they answer with "Sunshine and Smiles" and really mean it.
9) That understand it is "normal" to get dressed up to simply go to Walmart on your night off.
10) That live 10 months out of the year for the 2 Summer months of Camp!!
