Staff Qualities
Camp Holloway staff are passionate about building courage and confidence in the next generation of female leaders. Our staff prioritizes building strong connections with others, helping campers feel included as part of a group, and developing new, concrete skills. They believe that being outdoors, building social and emotional skills with others, and forging in-person friendships in ways that have been recently challenging will combat Zoom fatigue and give campers a newfound sense of self. We can teach new staff the activities and the routine – but we want you to come with a sense of responsibility and the desire to make the world a better place. Though our focus is always on our campers, Girl Scouts of Middle Tennessee takes staff development and safety seriously. In addition to the basics (food, shelter, wifi, PPE, laundry) staff will have access to professional development, self-care, and recreation opportunities. This is one of the hardest jobs that you will ever have but is also one of the most fulfilling.
