Camp Overview
Founded in 1929, Camp Ihduhapi is situated on 175 acres of maple forest on the shores of Lake Independence, with both overnight and day camp programs. Campers and staff alike enjoy a range of traditional camp activities, from canoeing and archery to horseback riding and high ropes. Campers are age 7-17, with most campers attending for week-long sessions. Longer sessions that involve canoe trips are offered to older campers through the leadership development program, which staff have the opportunity to facilitate if they choose.

Staff Time Off
Staff have Friday afternoon to Sunday morning off every week, as well as at least 1 hour per day. On the weekends, staff organize trips to local attractions around the Twin Cities, as well as other areas of Minnesota, such as the North Shore. Staff have access to the staff lounge and other spaces that have WiFi during their breaks and time off.
