There is no better feeling than being at Kawaga. Surrounded by boundless beauty and 100 plus years of tradition, there is a sacred vibe. The day-to-day life of a Kawaga camper is action packed with competitive sports, top-notch instruction and loads of fun. But it is the people who make the lasting impacts, friendships and experiences our boys remember forever.

Kawaga’s cornerstone values of Enthusiasm, Sportsmanship, Fellowship, and Spirit are at the heart of everything we do. They spring from the Kawaga Ideal. Doc E built Kawaga not just on a breathtaking pine- and birch-forested peninsula, but on a foundation even more inspiring and permanent: a set of ideas, now known more familiarly as The Ideal. Two hundred and thirty-six words that Kawaga campers hold close to their heart and know by heart.

As a counselor at Kawaga, we seek individuals who embody the spirit and values that define our camp - Enthusiasm, Sportsmanship, Fellowship, and Spirit. We're looking for role models who can instill a love for the outdoors, foster camaraderie, and create an environment where lifelong memories are made.
