Camp Overview
Founded in 1937 on 140 magnificent wooded acres, Camp Laurelwood is the home of life long memories and friendships. We envision a kinder world supported by generations of goodness and a vibrant Jewish community, and we hope to instill the values of kindness, community mindedness, and confidence in our campers and staff. We are an overnight and day camp that serves the surrounding community.
Camp Laurelwood staff receive invaluable skill-building, leadership training, and enrichment opportunities that can’t be found anywhere else! Working at Laurelwood will allow you to learn and develop real-world skills that will enhance your future. such as teamwork, conflict resolution, resilience, communication, and problem solving. Over 90% of our 2022 staff said they learned skills that will translate to work outside of camp.
Our facilities and activities include 2 pools, boating lake, fishing pond, tennis courts, gaga pits, basketball courts, sand volleyball court, multi-sports fields, high and low ropes course, archery and designated buildings for dance, drama, arts & crafts, video/photography and music.
