Camp Overview
Camp Osito Rancho, located at an elevation of 7,500 feet in Big Bear, California, is the Girl Scouts of Greater Los Angeles' premiere summer resident (overnight) camp. Girls in grades 2nd-12th explore independence in a safe and fun environment while making new friends, learning new skills, and adventuring in the great outdoors. Camp activities include horseback riding, archery, a high adventure course (high and low ropes course, rock climbing and two zip lines), canoeing on a private lake, hiking, arts and crafts, and learning about nature. The camp has multiple indoor fireplaces along with an outdoor fire ring, complete with a stage, for evening campfires, songs, and skits.
