Camp Overview
Camp Pecometh is a Christian, traditional-style, co-ed overnight and day camp located on the Chester River in Centreville, MD (less than 2 hrs away from Washington DC). Week-long programs for kids aged 5-17 with activities including canoeing, kayaking, water skiing and wakeboarding, sailing, archery, ropes course, horseback riding, nature discovery, arts & crafts, Bible study, cooking, and so much more! Come experience our inclusive and affirming Christian community!

Staff Time Off
All staff have time off Friday evenings (5:30 pm) to Sunday mornings (10:30 am), with the exception of one work weekend during the 9 week contract or two work weekends for lifeguard staff in an 11 week contract. Staff have free time in the evenings after camper lights out (10 pm to 12 am). Staff may also request up to 2 paid days off.
Staff Qualities
We are looking for kind and kid-focused staff who can model safety, 100% effort, and honest and appropriate communication. Our staff are organized, prepared, enthusiastic, and show great initiative. They are mission-minded and highly motivated. The ideal candidate is excited to participate in an inclusive and affirming Christian community regardless of their personal beliefs.
