Camp Overview
Camp Quinebarge is a traditional, welcoming summer camp in every sense, from the moment you come on camp you can feel history on display all around you. For over 80 summers, campers have spent their time outdoors and play all day in activities designed to help them grow, become more confident, and learn life skills all while having the times of their lives. Campers stay overnight for 2,4,6, or 8 week sessions.
We believe summer is a time for being outdoors, having wonderful experiences, making friends and coming together as a community. We foster this sense of exploration, creativity, and growth by engaging with each child (and their families), learning about their goals and needs and helping them achieve their goals. Whether the goal is to hit a bullseye in archery, pass a swim test, make new friends, tackle homesickness or tell a great joke to a large audience, our staff listen to our campers every day and help them every step of the way.

Staff Time Off

Staff Qualities
We seek passionate, responsible young adults who want to grow and impact the lives of our campers. Quinebarge seeks counselors who are fun, mature, and knowledgable people, whose first priority is to provide a safe, high quality program to our campers. They provide group and individual instructions in our activities, and act as mentors and role models to our campers. In short, our counselors are a huge part of what makes Quinebarge great! We've found that the best counselors are leaders who know how to work very well in groups as well as on their own while enjoying learning from an experienced leadership staff as well as the campers they live with every day! Beyond teaching and leadership skills, we look for maturity, trustworthiness, dependability, flexibility, sense of humor, and a willingness to put campers before themselves.
