Nestled on 570 acres along the stunning Hood Canal, Robbinswold is a rustic, adventure-packed camp run by Scouts of Western Washington. We use the word girl inclusively. Our camp welcomes everyone who identifies with the Girl Scout experience, including cisgender girls, transgender youth, non-binary, genderqueer, gender-expansive, and gender nonconforming youth. Our staff reflects this vibrant community - if you feel connected to the girl experience, you belong here.
From saltwater beachfronts and a freshwater lake to six miles of trails, Robbinswold is a haven for outdoor lovers. Our campers dive into epic adventures like canoe and kayak camping, sailing, backpacking trips through Olympic National Park, and marine exploration via touch tanks and snorkeling!
Every week has its own theme—think Barbie, International Week, or Anchors Away - so there's always something fun to look forward to. You'll live in open-air cabins or platform tents (no electricity here, just pure nature vibes), with separate staff cabins and communal shower houses. It’s a true unplugged experience.
In your time off, explore nearby gems like Port Townsend or the Pacific Coast, or go hiking in one of the many nearby national parks. If you love the outdoors, adventure, and a camp community where everyone belongs, Robbinswold might just be your new favorite place.

Staff Time Off
At Camp Robbinswold, we work hard—but we also know how important it is to rest and recharge. Staff get time off every week to relax, explore, or just unwind in nature. Campers arrive on Sunday afternoons and leave Friday afternoons, which means staff have a weekend break from Friday evening to Sunday morning. You’re welcome to stay on camp during this time or head off for a mini adventure. It’s your time to do you.
During the week, from Monday to Thursday, staff get a 2-hour break each full day. Whether you want to nap, chill by the lake, journal, or just enjoy some solo time, those daily breaks help keep your energy up and your vibe positive.
Each evening, your main responsibility is settling your campers down for bed. Once they’re asleep, there’s usually a quick check-in with the team to talk through the next day, and then you’re free to head to bed or wind down however you like.
Our staff lounge is the ultimate hangout spot when you're off duty. It’s separate from the campers and has a kitchen, flushing toilets, showers, a cozy sleeping/lounge space, a TV with a DVD player, and even WiFi (though cell service around camp can be hit or miss—don’t worry, we’ll show you the sweet spots!).
Meals are provided from Sunday lunch through to Friday lunch. Outside of that, you’ll be cooking your own food—but the staff kitchen has everything you need. Plus, we run grocery trips on Friday nights so you can stock up for the weekend.
And if you’re the exploring type, we’ve got you! Staff can join optional trips to fun places like Port Townsend, Olympia, local beaches, zoos, and even water parks. We’ll sort the transport—all you need to do is cover any entry fees. Got an idea for a cool trip? Let us know, and we’ll try to make it happen.
