Staff Time Off

Work schedule (e.g., weekdays, weekends, overnights)

Day Camp Weeks

Monday – Friday (7 am – 6 pm)

Overnight Camp Weeks

Sunday – Friday (7 am – 10 pm)

We have one weekend when campers are on camp for a leadership program that specific staff will be assigned to

Evening responsibilities (e.g., meetings, event prep, free time)

During Day Camp all staff are off after clean around 6 pm

During overnight weeks, staff who are assigned to overnight responsibilities will be overseeing campers in cabin areas/evening activities

Weekend or time-off policies

Staff will be given a break during the day. On day camp weeks all staff will receive an hour off each day and evenings off. During day & overnight weeks, overnight staff will receive additional time off during the day. This time off is usually assigned during activity blocks. Time off does not include mealtimes or rest hour unless specifically assigned.

All staff are provided with at least 1 full day (24 hrs.) off each week. This will typically occur Friday evening – Saturday but may be assigned to an alternative time if staff are required to work during that time. There will be at least 4 full weekends (Friday evening - Sunday) off throughout the summer.
