Camp Overview
Located along the beautiful shores of Lake Monomonac in Rindge, New Hampshire, Camp Starfish is a residential (overnight) camp which serves children between the ages of 7 and 16 who have social, emotional, behavioral, and learning challenges. We are one of the only camps in the country that utilizes a one-to-one staff to camper ratio, which allows us to meet the needs of children who have not been successful in other programs.
Our campers and staff live in cabins, eat in the dining hall, swim in the lake, have fun during “free play,” participate in traditional camp activities together, and build a camp community all while learning social skills and emotional regulation. Don't worry, we provide you with all the training to be successful in your role!

Staff Time Off
Every day, staff have one "Period Off" (~50 minutes) as well as some free time in the evenings. In addition, all staff have and a full day (~33 hours) off each week. There are also times in between camp sessions when you may have 1-2 additional days off.
Staff Qualities
We do not require staff to have experience working with special needs children. We look for staff who have an open mind and are willing to learn new things (all while having the experience of a lifetime!)
