Camp Overview
Camp Lapham offers staff a unique summer camp experience, a combination of traditional camp activities such as arts & crafts, sports and ropes course, mixed with a challenging curriculum designed to build skills and knowledge in social awareness, teamwork and college & career readiness.
Our teens are highly motivated to become the next generation of young leaders, with staff that act as guides and mentors to help them achieve this goal.

Counsellor Roles:
Here's a list of all the positions this camp commonly hires for!
Hmm... What's your role?
Staff Time Off
We recognise the importance of self-care when working long hours at camp, and try to offer suitable time off to make this possible. Staff receive at least one day off a week, as well as additional days off in between sessions.
Staff Qualities
We are looking for fun, friendly, and hard-working staff who understand the importance of being a good role model and have a genuine interest in making an impact on our camper’s lives.
Working at camp requires high levels of enthusiasm and the ability to work well in a large group setting.
Campers and staff participate in overnight camping and hiking treks, so some skill in this area is preferred, and a willingness to participate is a must!
If you are interested in a career in teaching, or social work, this would be a great opportunity for you!
