Camp Overview

Our camp program provides campers with autism a recreational and educational based program for the summer. The campers are actually students from our school program that is able to experience camp at our location in Califon, NJ. The camp program runs for eight weeks. The first week is dedicated to staff training and providing the staff with tools to support the campers during their stay at camp. Our camp is primarily a recreation-based program we do things like art, nature, music, swimming and go on weekly field trips.

Staff Time Off

The staff has off on a rotating schedule, they work four days and then have off 1 day. Our staff have more time off than most camps to help support them both emotionally and physically. We are 1 hour from New York City. We have local fairs and town celebrations throughout the summer. The nearby town has shopping, movies and places to eat. Our area has tons of natural environment activities, like hiking trails, tubing, boating, and lakes.

Staff Qualities

We are looking for staff with past experience in the special needs field, either as a volunteer or paid positions. Staff must be willing to do "whatever it takes" to make it the best day our campers ever had.
