Camp Overview
Gold Arrow Camp is a traditional summer camp in the central Sierra of California. Children ages 6-14 attend for 2 weeks at a time. They participate in traditional summer camp activities, such as horseback riding, rock climbing, sailing, waterskiing, canoeing, arts and crafts, and backpacking (among many others). We believe strongly in building relationships without technology while we are at camp. We work to make sure each and every camper has fun, makes friends, and grows. .
Gold Arrow Camp is co-educational and not affiliated with any religion or religious group.

Staff Time Off
Staff each get one 4 hour "night off" where they are assigned no duties each week. Staff also get 24 hours off each week.
Additionally, there is time after campers go to bed to relax in the staff lounge, which is arranged between counselors.
Staff Qualities
We want staff to have outstanding character. They must enjoy working with kids first. Technical skills are a secondary concern. They must be ready to work hard and to have fun. We sing, dance, and joke a lot. We want people who can have fun without technology to help.
Drug and alcohol use are not tolerated. We ask that staff members abstain from alcohol, even on their time off, for the entire summer.
