Camp Overview
Ranch Camp is a kehillah (community) that inspires campers, staff, and families to strengthen their Jewish identity, connect with the natural world and develop life-long friendships. Ranch Camp offers a summer adventure where campers engage fully, live excited for each moment and are encouraged to defy their limits and define themselves. Located in the Black Forest, Ranch Camp has 388 acres of stunning, forested land covered in miles of trails, campsites, wildflowers and unique boulders and caves. At the heart of camp, campers live, eat, sleep and play in our updated facilities designed to immerse campers in the beauty of the Colorado outdoors.

Staff Time Off
Every staff member receives one hour off per day, two days off per session, and at least 4 nights off over the course of the summer. Between sessions, staff members get 2 days off to rest and prepare for the nest session. During nights off, days off, and between sessions staff are encouraged to leave camp and explore everything that Colorado has to offer.
Staff Qualities
Ranch Camp looks for staff to bring the best skills they can to camp. Whether your specialty be in child management, horseback riding, rock climbing, art, Judaics, mountain biking; the list goes on. We want to know what you can do. Maybe it isn’t even something we are looking for. Tell us the special ‘thing’ that you will bring to camp. We want to know about it. JCC Ranch Camp staff attend on-site training from 10-17 days depending on their level of certification and job description. Each person hired has a commitment to ensuring the emotional, physical, spiritual health, safety, and wellbeing of each camper in our care. At camp, kids have a blast. But it starts with staff having a blast. We do our best to make camp fun for everyone who is there. We want you to grow socially and professionally, while having the time of your life at camp. That being said: We’re here to serve kids and make sure they are in the safest environment possible while having the time of their lives.
