Staff Time Off
Staff are guaranteed at least 2 hours off per day, and at least 24 hours off per week. During youth camp sessions, the majority of campers depart on Saturday and return on Monday, allowing staff a day of rest and respite on Sundays. Some staff will watch "stayover campers" during the weekend and have their day off during the week. During hospitality season after youth camps the days off are built around guest group calendars and are typically during the week.
Staff Qualities
Adaptability, kindness, inclusiveness and leadership are all qualities we look for in staff. Lifeguard certification is a plus, as we are nearly surrounded by a beautiful freshwater lake. We offer training in all areas (kitchen, belay training, mental health first aid, CPR/AED/first aid, etc).
