Camp Overview
We are a faith-based day and residential camp in Centreville, Maryland. From archery to canoeing, Bible study to ropes course, music time to arts & crafts to campfires, Camp Pecometh is a traditional-style, overnight, inclusive & affirming Christian camp. We serve children and youth ages 5-17 in programs ranging from 3 days to 1 week. We also serve adult campers with intellectual disabilities for 1 week of the summer. Located on the Chester River, we have a ton of waterfront programming in addition to our specialty programs that include photography, video games, STEM programming, cooking, a night owl program, and more!

Staff Time Off
Regularly scheduled time off is limited to 2 evening hours Sunday-Wednesday plus Friday evening through Sunday early morning off. Short blocks of time off are arranged throughout the week for some positions. Staff may request up to 2 paid days off during summer.
Staff Qualities
We are a Christian camp, but do not require our staff to be Christian, we just ask that they support our mission throughout the summer by participating in all parts of camp, i.e. grace at meals, singing praise and worship songs, daily bible study, and short evening services. We want staff are excited about working with children in a camp setting and wanting to be a part of a close, supportive, and inclusive team.
