Camp Overview
Located in far eastern Maine, the Umaine 4-H Camp at Greenland Point sits on a peninsula on Long Lake in Princeton, Maine. Greenland Point operates during the summer season as an overnight camp for ages 7-17. Staff work with a co counselor to lead a group of campers during the week. Staff get daily time off along with most weekends. Weekend time off starts on Friday afternoon and goes until Sunday morning. The directors offer optional weekend trips so staff can explore Maine and it's rugged coastline. During our camp weeks, staff spend most of thier time outside leading activities including Swimming, Paddlesports, Hiking, Nature Exploration, Survival, Archery, Outdoor Cooking, Water Ecology, Conservation Education, Fishing and much more! Greenland Point is looking for general counselors and staff that have a strong background in wilderness expeditions and backcountry camping.
