Camp Overview
We operate day camp and overnight camp as well as host group rentals. We have campers from age 5 - 16 from around the metro Detroit region as well as some international campers as well. As a Y camp, we're very much about achievement, relationships, and belonging. We offer many traditional camp activities like archery, horseback riding, high adventure, boating, sports, and many more.

Staff Time Off
Each staff has a guaranteed minimum of 24 hours off per week from noon Saturday until noon Sunday, with many weeks allowing for more time. During overnight camp, cabin leaders will have 2 evenings off per week while staff not in cabins will end their working day at around 9pm. During day camp sessions, staff are often done working at around 5pm each day. Support staff work 55 hours each week.
Staff Qualities
An ideal candidate is empathetic, has a drive for working with youth and works well as a part of a large staff team. Is willing to help others and to buy in to the Y philosophy and core values. We train our staff to run all of our camp activities.
