FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
- What paperwork do I need to take to the airport - Screenshot or copy of your full flight information including ticket number from the flights page of your CA account, Passport with DS2019/Certificate of Eligibility signed by the Embassy, arrival in America instructions printed from your CA online account including Camp contact information
- Which terminal does my flight depart from – Check airline or airport website.
- When will I get my flight ticket - e-tickets are issued for all of our flights and usually appear on your online CA site 1-4 weeks before departure. Please print out or take a screenshot of the flights page on your CA account, for check in.
- When will I get my boarding pass - the airline will issue your boarding pass either when you check in online, or when you check in at the airport.
- Dietary requests – need to be made directly with the airline. Contact the airline once you have your ticket number. You may be able to make the request through the airline’s ‘manage my booking/online check in’ site.
- Online check in – once your flight has been ticketed (usually 2-4 weeks prior to departure) you should be able to use the airline’s ‘manage my booking/online check in’ site. Online check-in is usually available 24-48 hours prior to departure. It doesn’t always work though - don't panic, just check in at the airport instead.
- Special flight requests eg can I fly with a friend, upgrade my flight for extra legroom etc – unfortunately CA cannot accommodate any special flight requests.
- What is my baggage allowance and can I add extra luggage – most CA booked flights include 1 checked piece of luggage (23kg). Check directly on airline website for baggage allowance. If you want to add additional luggage wait until you have your ticket number and either call the airline or add through the airline's website. You will need to pay any additional costs. NOTE - flights from Central/Southern America do NOT have luggage included. You will need to pay for this yourself at the airport.
